Compare the exact paddle and version before choosing a brand. This reference brings together manufacturer-listed size and construction examples and the documented High Roller details. Start with the equipment rules for your venue, then compare fit and the current total purchase price.
Published by DOPE Pickleball, which sells High Roller. We have not conducted an independent head-to-head performance test of these models. The measurements below are attributed to the manufacturers and were checked October 11, 2026; they are not a spin, power, comfort or durability ranking.
DOPE High Roller: documented design and requirements
The current High Roller listing describes a dark woven face, reflective chrome-gold edge guard styling and an NFC component in the handle. Metallic and chrome describe appearance; the edge guard itself is not metal. The listing includes one paddle; the case and other photographed accessories are sold separately.
High Roller is not USA Pickleball approved. Use it only where your venue permits it. This research pass does not establish exact paddle dimensions, static weight, grip circumference, core thickness, swingweight or twistweight for High Roller. Ask DOPE about a missing measurement before relying on it. The requirements finder checks current venue and budget conditions.
DOPE vs CRBN: compare the exact Genesis shape
CRBN’s Genesis specifications describe a 14mm foam core and a T700 carbon-fiber face layup with fiberglass. The listed grip circumference is 4.125 inches across the four examples below. CRBN identifies these as averages or approximations; handle length is measured to the top of the rubber band.

DOPE vs JOOLA: Perseus POWER FX 16mm
JOOLA’s Perseus POWER FX listing describes EPP foam in its construction. Its listed size is 16.5 × 7.5 inches, average weight 8.0 ounces, handle length 5.5 inches and grip circumference 4.125 inches, with a note that grip size may vary slightly. These facts apply to POWER FX 16mm; they are not specifications for Perseus Pro IV or Pro V.
DOPE vs Six Zero: Ruby 16mm
Six Zero’s Ruby 16mm listing describes an aramid face and a polymer honeycomb core. It lists length at 16.3 inches, a flared width of 7.5–7.7 inches, handle length at 5.5 inches, grip circumference at 4.125 inches and average weight at 8.2 ounces ± 0.3. Ruby also has a 14mm option; select the version before comparing it.
DOPE vs Selkirk pickleball paddles: choose the model, then the shape
A DOPE vs Selkirk comparison starts with your venue and the details you need for fit. High Roller is not USA Pickleball approved, and its exact dimensions, weight and core thickness are not established in this reference. Selkirk has several distinct constructions: its LUXX Control Air with InfiniGrit has a 19mm honeycomb core, while the OMNI, Project Boomstik and SLK Dauntless examples below use 16mm foam constructions. A Selkirk brand name alone does not identify one paddle.
Start by choosing the footprint and handle space you want to try. The current OMNI, Boomstik and Dauntless widebody examples share a listed 15.95 × 8 inch footprint and 5.6 inch handle. Their elongated examples list 16.5 × 7.45 inches and a 5.8 inch handle. LUXX uses its own Epic and Invikta dimensions. A shared footprint does not make their surfaces, core layouts or weighting systems equivalent.

LUXX Control Air with InfiniGrit; OMNI; Project Boomstik; Dauntless. LUXX lists a Florek carbon-fiber face with InfiniGrit; Boomstik lists a three-layer T700 carbon face with InfiniGrit; Dauntless lists a raw T700 face. OMNI uses InfiniGrit and an adjustable MOI system. Boomstik and Dauntless describe their installed MOI systems as semi-permanent. For Boomstik, confirm the exact configuration required by your event: Selkirk separately discusses an elongated model without MOI for certain U.S. pro divisions.
Gearbox vs Selkirk pickleball paddles
For a Gearbox vs Selkirk shortlist, compare the GX2 Power Hybrid with one of the exact Selkirk shapes above. GX2 Power Hybrid lists 16.2 × 7.8 inches, a 5.5 inch handle, a 4 inch grip circumference and 8.0 ounces. Its 16mm SST 2.0 CarbonRibCore structure differs from both LUXX’s honeycomb and the listed Selkirk foam cores. The smaller listed grip circumference gives you a concrete fit question to check in your hand before adding an overgrip.
Selkirk vs JOOLA pickleball paddles
The Perseus POWER FX 16mm is an EPP-foam example measuring 16.5 × 7.5 inches with a 5.5 inch handle and 4.125 inch grip circumference. LUXX InfiniGrit Invikta measures 16.4 × 7.5 inches with a 5.35 inch handle, 4.25 inch grip and 19mm honeycomb core. Those are specific construction and fit differences to compare during a demo; neither the thinner profile nor the foam label establishes a performance winner.
Engage vs Paddletek pickleball paddles: compare handle room
Engage X2 Elongated and X2 Widebody use a quad-density foam core and micro-weave carbon-fiber surface. Elongated lists a 5.5 inch handle; Widebody lists 5.3 inches. Paddletek’s Honeyfoam ESQ lists 5.5 inches, while the Honeyfoam TKO-X lists 5.75 inches. If you use two hands, compare that available grip space directly. A wider paddle does not automatically have a longer handle.

Paddletek describes Honeyfoam as a low-density EPP core, an EVA wrap and a perimeter foam ring, with a PT-700 raw carbon-fiber hitting surface. ESQ and TKO-X each offer 14mm and 16mm choices. The ESQ example above is 16mm and the TKO-X example is 14mm. Check the panel for your chosen thickness before comparing any weight or inertia measurement.
Ronbus vs Vatic Pro pickleball paddles
Ronbus’s Quanta Pro uses an EPP core with an EVA elastomer ring. Its Tenon uses an EPP/EVA mortise-and-tenon joint. Both families list 16mm versions, a 5.5 inch handle, a 4.125 inch grip circumference and 7.9 ounces ± 0.2, but their shape codes matter.

The two Tenon elongated shapes have the same listed length and width; R1 has a curved top. That outline difference is worth checking visually and in a demo instead of assuming the R1 and R3 are interchangeable.
Vatic Pro V-Sol Pro 16mm and V-Sol Tour with Evergrit 16mm both list floating EPP cores with EVA perimeter rings. The Pro describes a raw Toray T700 carbon-fiber surface; Tour identifies its surface as Evergrit. Both list a 4.125 inch grip and 8.0 ounce average. For the Flash standard-handle option, Vatic’s shape chart lists 16.3 × 7.7 inches and a 5.3 inch handle. Choose the exact shape and handle option before using those measurements; the long-handle, elongated and Bloom options have distinct dimensions.
Six Zero vs Vatic Pro pickleball paddles
Six Zero Ruby 16mm pairs an aramid face with a polymer honeycomb core. It lists 16.3 inches in length, a flared 7.5–7.7 inch width and a 5.5 inch handle. Comparing it with V-Sol Pro or Tour therefore means comparing different face and core combinations, even where the total length is similar. Record your own resets, volleys and drives with the same ball; a material name cannot answer how either complete paddle will play for you.
Bread and Butter vs Six Zero pickleball paddles
Bread & Butter Loco 16mm Hybrid is another distinct option: 16.2 × 7.6 inches, a 5.3 inch handle, 4.25 inch grip and 7.9–8.1 ounce listed weight. Its EPP/EVA foam core and T700 face with an additional fiberglass layer differ from Ruby’s listed construction. Keep the Loco 16mm Hybrid name on your shortlist; a Loco 2 listing is a separate version and shape choice.
Proton Project Coyote Elongated 15mm specs
Proton Project Coyote Elongated 15mm lists a polypropylene honeycomb core with a reinforced foam perimeter, a 16.5 × 7.5 inch footprint, a 5.5 inch handle and a 4.125 inch grip. This illustrates why “has foam” and “full foam core” are different descriptions. Proton’s current specification panel and product graphic use different weight figures, so confirm the current sample weight with the seller when weight is a deciding factor.
Turn the comparison into a purchase shortlist
Choose two or three exact models that meet your venue’s requirements, then hold or demo the selected shape and thickness. Check grip fit and whether your second hand has enough room. With the same ball and a repeatable set of drives, resets, dinks and volleys, record what you can control consistently. Keep those impressions separate from laboratory measurements and compare current delivered cost, included accessories and the seller’s actual trial terms before buying.

Core and face are different components. The examples above show why a face label does not tell you the core construction. Thickness, face material or a shape name alone cannot establish which complete paddle has the most spin or fits your hand. Use the exact paddle’s record in the USA Pickleball approved paddle list. Match the brand, model, shape and thickness; a similar family name can refer to a different version. Open the individual record and read its current status. Where the record supplies a model code or finish, compare those details with the paddle you are considering.
