Who Is Stitch?
Stitch is the artist behind Dope. His work brings the games he grew up playing, his interest in textiles and the places he returns to into objects you can take to a court. High Roller is where those parts of his life meet.
Meet The Artist
The name is a way of thinking.
A stitch joins separate pieces. For him, those pieces are product, community, mission and artist: the four ideas represented by Dope’s four-X mark. On the High Roller shirt, that idea becomes four linked gold stitches close to the hem.
It is a small place to put a signature. You find it by looking closely.
There is a life inside the work.
Competitive baseball came before racquetball and pickleball. A chrome-gold racquet stayed in his memory. Las Vegas became a home away from home, shared with his best friend. Those experiences surface in High Roller’s palette, playing-card motifs and baseball-diamond references.
The collection gives those memories somewhere to live beyond the artist.
Getting there took longer.
Stitch could imagine the paddle long before he could make it. The full story follows the people who called the idea impossible, the search through materials and finishes, and the launch he chose to hold.
